About Purplemace Travelogue 

 

Hi guys! Thanks for visiting my website. I go by the name of Macy and Purplemace was my very first online nickname. (It's pretty obvious that I fancy the colour! Haha!)  If you are my high school classmate, my college buddy or my old time online friend, you would know I have been using that nickname/alias for such a long time that's why I intend to keep it. =)

 

I am not a writer and I don't really travel frequently but  since I enjoy doing both,  I decided to put this website up so I can share with you my travel experiences and maybe inspire you in my own little way to start planning your own trip, pack your bags and start to wander andyou'll realize THE EARTH IS RIDICULOUSLY BEAUTIFUL!

 

I created my first travel blog in 2012 mainly because I wanted to explore the Philippines. I had a few trips to South Korea when I was a teenager, I have been to different parts of Asia and worked in the Middle East for 4 years but I've never really traveled within the Philippines except for Manila where I studied and worked and in Cavite where I grew up. However, my dream of experiencing the beauty of our country, region by region, was put on hold when I moved to Singapore. Meanwhile my already existing desire to travel the world has just grown bigger and bigger after being inspired by Kach Mu and Jonathan Howe of Two Monkeys Travel and all the "Kaladkarins"

 

From Singapore, I have traveled to Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar and recently experienced visiting Czech Republic, France, Belgium and UK.
